Hi,

Do anybody know something about enlarger named SIRIUS? (Sirus, like a star) The man who sells it told me that it is made of wood, has 3,5m hight and it is for 35cmx35cm negative. I can not find anything about it in the internet. Please tell me something about it.

P.S. Is 10000 USD a good price for it?

This is not a direct family relation to me.

I haven't heard of it.

35cm is 14" - so 11x14" condenser enlarger at a guess; 11 1/2 feet high. If it is wood it is old - pre WWII most likely.

The market for machines like this is very small. If you can find someone who really needs one and is willing to hire a truck and come and pick it up then it may be worth more than close to nothing.

$10,000 is much too much. There is an 11x14 Saltzman going for $500 and a Pawo that has been for sale for a long time with no takers at $4500.

Most 11x14 enlargers are horizontal: Devere, K&E Rectifier, Durst. Verticals just don't sell. Well, horizontals don't sell well either.
