How did you get inside KEH?

Looks like their warehouse for “BGN” LF equipment.

Looks like inventory day at some very large Photography school.

Now I'm going to have nightmares about this.

On the Leica forums there are Chinese/HK guys who post pictures like this of their camera collections, dozens and dozens of expensive cameras, Leicas-Linhofs-Rolleis-Alpa-etc. all in climate-controlled boxes and in mint condition. I guess there are a few people out there with virtual showrooms, on par with the Eastman House but deeper into the individual models and lenses.

But looking closer, it looks like a lot of Toyo stuff so maybe Brooks or someplace they sponsor for education/workshops?

I just hope there's some insurance involved. That's quite a haul.

It's the inventory of a news photo unit that was bought out lock and stock.

Looks like a school. Years ago when I proctored at the ICP, their "lending library" looked very similar.

Is it a rental department?

So, what's so special about the one lens on the left that still has its lens cap?

Its from the equipment hub at the School of Visual Arts. We are doing inventory this week and it involves laying everything out in the studios and accounting for it. I thought people here would get a kick out of it. This was about 1/4 of the equipment they have. As a fellow photo geek, working there is a dream come true.
