my first solo exhibition

Hello,

last week I had my first solo exhibition "La música y la luz" (the music & the light) at Kiosco del Arte in Hermosillo, Mexico.
The photographs will stay on display until April 29th.

The photographs in the exhibition were made between Jan-2009 & Dec-2010 and all were exposed with my trusty Cambo SC 4x5 and enlarged on Ilford paper.

Also, I have updated my website with a gallery containing the photographs in the show.

The opening reception was a success, attendance was well above average for a photography show here in Hermosillo (80-90 souls). On the business side, I sold three photographs (out of 31 in display), so at least it's going to help me restock paper & film.

I also had an exhibition catalog printed (lulu) and all 25 copies were sold. Next time I'll have more available.

Overall it was a great experience, took a lot of work and time in the darkroom. In the end I learnt a lot and it felt great.
