I am shopping around for a Rodenstock 270mm Tele-Optar in Graflex in a 1000 Shutter to kind of round out the lenses for my Super Speed Graphic. I found one on @bay from across the oceans for US $545.00, but the price seems high and the description iffy. I can find Rotelar 270mm f/5.6 lenses for under $300 and except for the shutter there isn't too much difference between the two I don't think.

I guess my question for anyone who might be knowledgeable is what kind of price range can I expect for a clean sample in a working 1000 shutter? I'll pay what I have to to get one, but not more than I have to, if that makes sense.

You understand those shutters are notoriously unreliable, right? Nothing to pay a premium for.

I have one on a 135 optar and never had a problem. I think because the are different people who might not be used to them do things to them that messes them up. I think the human hand can put a lot more torque on the shutter cock on one of these than it can on most other lever cock shutters. Besides they are made for the Super and fit the boards perfectly.
