Hello,

I process b&w and e6 above all; which automatic processor do you think is better? atl 2 or 3? is there anyone that could provide me with a manual for these please?

I didn't get in mind the main differences between them so I'm not able to make a choice! your help will be precious!!

thanx. all the best.

Hi some Jobo processor comparison.
See http://www.dicam.pl/katalogi/JOBO.pdf Page 14.
Not the ATL2 or ATL3 but ATL1500 and all ATL2xxx version.

If you are processing nothing bigger than 4x5, the ATL1500 will do just fine.

I like the 3 which is what I have, the two is an older version with some draw backs. If you email me gblank@omegabrandess.com I'll get you a manual.

Try to find the newer models that came after 1998. 1500 is similar to ALS 2 and the 2500 is similar to the ALS 3. Those are much easier to maintain.

1500 model doesn't let you use expert drums or I'm wrong? Then, it seems easier here in italy to find atl2 and atl3 models...but the differences between them remain unknown!
Anyway, are the electronic parts of these machines that difficult to fix for a good technician in case of failure?

I was all wrong about the 1500. The 2300 is similar to the old ATL 2. There is a guy in Gummersbach Germany that used to work for JOBO that can still service their processors. http://www.fotolaborservice.de/

thanx all you guys for your precious help. The last advice: do you know where I can search for ATL 3 serial numbers to understand the age of a single machine? I found this for CPA/CPP machines but not for ATL 3...

THANX AGAIN.best wishes

When I was looking for Jobo processors for use during my stays in Italy, I couldn't find any. Eventually I found them in the German ebay; even now there are some.
