View Full Version : precise borderless printing?

I get some prints from adoramapix.com and they stipulate they can cut up to 1/8" off the edge of the image to get it to specified size (for borderless prints) - they print the image slightly bigger than the specified size and trim it.

I'm thinking of making a panel mural, so that 1/8" of slop might screw it up, so am looking for a (cheap) service that can print borderless more precisely.

Also, is there a term (other than "precise borderless printing") for this?

I think I could have panels printed with border and trim it myself to achieve the accuracy I want, but if there's an easier way...

I use Qimage and I can set up multiple panels for any specific size to match any desired size. The term also could be called "full image" if you aren't looking to crop in order to "fit" the page.
