Question about post counts

I noticed when I post a reply in the For Sale section, my post count does not increase.

Is that section excluded from the post count totals?

I’m pretty sure all forums listed in the “Community” section are excluded from post count totals. (At least that’s what I’ve heard.)

It’s a natural question to ask, since I don’t think the FAQ section addresses it.

If it doesn’t, I think it should. After all, it seems to be an ever-recurring question. Maybe a quick addition to the section titled “Reading and Posting Messages (mechanics and format hints).”

BTW, why is Ted Harris (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?t=35529&highlight=ted+harris) still listed as a “current forum moderator” at the bottom of the “Guidelines” (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/faq.php?faq=vb_board_usage#faq_gen_rules_faq_item) section? I think we should let the good man rest in peace, release him from our more worldy concerns, and reduce the chance of hurting or embarrassing someone.
