Jobo 3010 on a Cibachrome motor base? Works?

Need to know whether the jobo 3010 drum would be compatible with the cibachrome motor base?

Since I have obtained the motor base, I may as well report on this for the benefit of others.

Yes it works but it requires a modification. The diameter of the 3010 is too big to allow the triggering of the automatic on switch of the motor base. Simply tape the switch in the depressed state in order to have the motor constantly turning.

Furthermore, the 3010 goes through ~20 full revolutions per minute on this base.
