Exhibition: "In Vermont", Oct 2 - 31

Hi everyone,

Starting this Saturday, I'm showing a mix of B+W large and medium format images (along with one digital capture) at the local cafe in Middlebury. Here's the blurb from the press release:


Carol's Hungry Mind Cafe (http://www.carolshungrymindcafe.com/) will be showing a selection of ten black-and-white landscape photographs from Brett Simison's upcoming monograph "In Vermont". There will be a reception on October 8th starting at 5:00pm to coincide with the Middlebury Art Walk.

"In Vermont" (http://www.brettsimison.com/exhibitions/2010-10_In_Vermont.php) is a graphic documentary of the everyday beauty of Vermont's landscape, seasons, and culture.

It's a bit of a drive for me, and I have family staying over - but I'll try to go. It looks like a beautiful portfolio, and the region itself is stunning to visit.

I just wanted to remind everyone that the In Vermont (http://www.brettsimison.com/invermont) exhibition reception is this Friday, October 8th starting at 5:00pm at Carol's Hungry Mind Cafe in Middlebury. It coincides with the last Middlebury Arts Walk of the season, so there's a wealth of exhibitions to see if you can make it to town.
