Is there any baseline standard for setting bulb intensity on an enlarger? I have a Durst L1200 varipoint condenser head and there is a control on the power supply for adjusting the bulb intensity. Obviously there to be able to adjust intensity for different situations.

I'm just wondering if there is a baseline for light strength for developing with these?

No standard that I know of for any enlarger. But the color temperature of a tungsten or halogen bulb will change with intensity so have an effect on color printing or B&W with variable contrast paper. I set my halogen bulbs for Ilfochrome printing at EV 5.0, lens wide open, as read by reflection off a white paper. I use a variac for control with the condenser head.
