I have consistently gotten excellent prints with this printer. However sometimes my prints take on a greenish cast. This usually happens when I make a paper size switch or profile change of some sort. I have corrected the problem twice, but I do not know what I did to correct the problem. I have went back through and checked all the color management settings and paper settings. Anyone have ideas or suggestions on how to correct this problem.

I am not a professional or advanced amateur, however I do like good prints.

Thanks in advance.

Gary,

Assuming your ink levels are OK, run a nozzle check. If there are gaps in the printout, run a head cleaning. Do another nozzle check to see if the heads are clear. Next, run a test print. If it comes out OK, you're good to go.

This is what I would do with my 2400 as a first step. I always run a nozzle check before a printing session. It is easy to do and uses only one piece of regular letter paper and a tiny amount of ink.

There are no gaps in the print out. Just a greenish overcast in the print.

Thanks for the advice. My first impression, on having no streaks or gaps, was that this could not solve the problem. After my initial response, I decided to try the head cleaning. It immediately cleared up the problem. Thanks again.
