Is Agefix hardening or non-hardening fixer?
I want to switch from Kodak hardening fixer to this which is the only I can get where I live. Any suggestions or warnings on using this fixer for 4x5 FP4+?

According to agfa in this thread http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg.tcl?msg_id=005kH5 it is not hardening.
Here is some info on agfa chemistry www.iphoto.net.au/.../Agfa%20B&W%20-%20Chem%20Data%20Sheet.pdf
I am not aware of anything special about fp4+ in this fixer.

I ask because in the scant literature about it, film is not mentioned.

As an ammonium thiosulfate fixer it will do both.
To reassure you that it will work on fp4+ see eg http://photo.net/black-and-white-photo-film-processing-forum/00RyTQ www.madsens.com.au/new/darkroom/Guide%20to%20Developing07.pdf and particularly www.largeformatphotography.info/unicolor/ilfwash.pdf (a paper mostly about the ilford wasshing method, but which uses agefix on a number of films)
