de vere 504 mark 5 power supply?

hi guys
i origally posted a thread requiring knowledge of fixing a switch stab for a de vere 504, i have now given up on that idea as it sounds like a complete nightmare!!!!

So....i am having trouble locating a 500 WATT SMPC switch stab for my mark 5 twin lamp enlarger, but..... i can get hold of a 500 watt switch stab for a 507?

are they the same beast??????

any help will be greatly appreciated, as i seem to going around in circles!!!"

My understanding is that the 507 Transtab, Switchstab and SMPC are different and non-interchangeable. You need the right one for the head that you have. Try calling the very helpful "Lightwave Servicing". They have serviced and rewired my De Vere equipment.
