Yep, im new, so is the Hobby. Been doing alot of reading to figure this stuff out.

I was recently given a nice Graflex Crown Graphics Graflok camera, a nice Yashica MAT 24G, and the simple Ansco Shur Shot, all 120 film carriers.

Im very excited to get into it and start taking BW photos. I am into Hot rods and Classics and I hope to take this new effort to the car shows. Im also looking to get into developing my own film as well using a developing drum and dark bag.

Not too sure where to go with this...but I hope to find all the info here that I need, and maybe progress forward into newer and different aspects of the hobby.

Here is the collection I was fortunate to pick up.

Welcome to group therepy! :) Your local library is your friend...do alot of reading, starting with Adam's first volume, "Camera and Lens" in which he details each type of camera and how to use them.

Jim,

I wanna drool all over the computer every time I see one of your old cars. They may no be ready for the Concours, but they are neat. I especially like that old '36 Ford pick-up. Looks like that old "A" still has his mechanical brakes. :)

My 29 Ford I just finished, a 3 year build, totally custom. Build from a Sports Coupe body and 4 other cars.
