I was looking at the serial number table http://motamedi.info/serial.htm

The last part is quite interesting, 9,999,999-10,000,150 1971
And the serial number is far away from the previous serial number 6,664,222 1965
Was it a special run or it was run by another company (like the dagor lens)?

Those numbers are probably erroneous. From the "Fabrikationsbuch Voigtländer" by Thiele (in German) it looks like this:

July 1945 2,700,000
November 1947 3,000,000
1952 3,500,000
January 1956 4,000,000
December 1959 5,000,000
March 1962 6,000,000
December 1966 7,000,000
March 1970 7,300,000
September 1972 7,449,000

So 7449000 is the highest no. there.
Now, after Zeiss-ikon Voigtländer stopped their production, Rollei took over the name and the prodution sites for a few years, so maybe the high number are from them?

Ok - that means they were not listed in the production books at the archives (which is what Mr. Thiele was using). I can only speculate what a 10000000 no. means. Maybe selling off stock after the takeover by Rollei and they started the nunbering fresh at 10000000?

OK, just reopening an old thread here. I received a 210 Heliar today with the serial number 10000134. It is mounted in a Compur Electronic #3. Just wondering if anything further had come to light regarding the 10000000+ serial numbers.
