I too have a DaYi with 6x17 capabilities advertised. I just have been able to get beyond 6x15 with my Nikkor 210 W or an old 305mm (12") lens in an ILEX #4. Please let me know how yours turn out and how to do this right! BTW, I am using a Cambo 4x5 and an Eastman 2D 8x10.

i got a Gaoersi 617 with a fuji 90mm f8, just went out today and did some test shots after i set up the camera, i think i screwd up a few things, theres so much to remember, not like digital SLRs you just adjust your settings point and shoot lol, anyway i will send off my test shots to the lab on monday and hopefully they come back nice and sharp and i can start workin on the rest of the rolls, nice images so far..

just got my test shots back and i am over the moon, i was worried about my exposures but they where mostly spot on, and i was worried whether i calibrated my lens properly but after looking at them under an 8x loupe they are FANTASTIC and tack sharp, and i dont need to use a centre grad either, i wish i could show you these shots but i dont have a scanner, i am deciding between the v600 and v700 not sure whether the extra money is worth it for other things. v750 doesnt exist here in OZ but what ever i go for i will most likely get a wet scanning holder for it and then i can contribute here soon and start getting some feed back

My vote's for the V700. Got one and do 617 a lot.

Currently waiting on the Betterscan mount with twin AN glass.

PM me if you wanna chat about this.

All very nice, but there is a serious lack of color here? is B&W what everyone likes to shoot? as you can probably tell color is my personal preference but all are no doubt still stunning images, anyones else got the v700?

This view is of the Shallotte River on Business US17, Main Street in Shallotte, NC. Hundreds of not thousands cross over this river every day. I feel sure little notice is given to the view they miss as they drive past.
Both shots were made with a Graflex 3A, the post card camera; I converted to use 120 film. I changed lens several times, these two were with an old B&L Meniscus lens, and B&L Tessar at F16. I enjoyed shooting from the site in Shallotte, NC, as I have done many times.

6x17 images are now cast off to http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?69756-6x17-Images

I have a couple color photos there. Please join us. 4x10 or higher can stay here. For the specifics of what is allowed, I guess one has to decode the precise wordings from the moderators.
