I currently have a Canoscan 9900F. I'm trying to get the best possible quality scan from 120 color and BW negs on it. Of course the Canon film holders are nearly worthless.
I wanted to get a better holder, but Betterscan doesn't make a holder specifically for the 9900F, only the Canon 8800, Epson V700, etc. (I would buy one to try out, but Betterscan holders aren't returnable.)
Does anyone have any experiences using the Betterscan holder made for the 8800F on their Canonscan 9900F?
I suppose I should just get rid of the 9900F and move up to something like the Epson V700, or some other newer scanner, but I'm on a budget for the time being.
Any suggestions or feedback?
