Is anyone using a Jobo 2561 drum for 120 roll film on a uni color roller base?
Even better if they are using steel reels?

don't think the steel reels work well with 2400 series drums. 1500 series is the cat's arse though

Hi Fred,

Thanks,
I had a 1500 series but just thought I should ask abut the 2500 series too.
I dumped my tanks when I trimmed my 6x6 and 6x45 system back, should not have!
Have a great New Year!! :)

I use a 2551/2553 (same tank-different Jobo drive) that holds 5 @ 35mm, 3 @ 120 or 2 @ 4x5 reels on either a Uniroller or Beseler base. Works for all 3 formats.

I am just wondering how well the 2561 works with steel reels on a roller base?
I wondered as I started to look to replace my 1500 series drums and could no longer find the stainless steel center rod listed.

Damn, I just noticed I wrote 2400 in the header.

You mean 2500 series! The thread title is 2400?
The Steel reels will Work, but require more chemicals in the 2500 drums...if one is using a long drum. There are two types, one can use the same plastic center core as the combo reels, this center core is about 1/2 inch in diameter. The second older type reel uses the old type center core which is stainless shaft that is non adjustable in length. These older reels typically have about a 7mm hole instead of the larger half inch.

Hi Greg,

Thank you.
Once Fred posted on the center rod, I picked up a 1500 series.
