The deadline for reserving a room for a reduced rate at the Yosemite Lodge is March 3rd for the Carbon Printing Workshop.

My carbon printing workshop still has space, and there is no deadline for signing up for the actual workshop. The workshop facility at the Ansel Adams Gallery has just been remodeled and needs a good breaking in -- and for that, there is nothing better than making photographs with black Jello! Now, Kerik might get in there before us with wet plate collodian, but we can do our share!

Five days is a great amount of time -- the participants will have the opportunity to create carbon prints -- starting with a packet of dry gelatin and some sugar, and crafting that into a finished print.

I'll have an extra 8x10/5x7 camera along if any participant wants to use it.

There are still openings in my carbon printing workshop, April 19 to 23!

The workshop is definitely happening and right now it is under-enrolled. This is your opportunity to make carbon prints all week in a beautiful place...and in the brand new workshop facility of the Ansel Adam Gallery! You will get almost one-on-one instruction in learning one of photography's most beautiful and long-lasting processes.

Happy Spring!
