Here is a link for a local show that had a short feature on Barbara Crane.

I saw this retrospective at the Cultural Center and highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Chicago, as well as locals.

RIP

I met Ms. Crane at a party many years ago. I believe the meeting was more memorable for me than it was for her. She will be missed.

In the early 90's I attended a workshop in SW MI put on by her and Al Weber. It went Ok if a little disorganized at times. Probably their first and last workshop together. I remember her as a nice and helpful person. Glad she went on to live a long, productive and interesting life. What more can you ask for? RIP.

The OP's post seems to be nearly ten years old, but a quick search (https://video.wttw.com/search/?q=Barbara+Crane) gives a couple of relevant videos on the wttw.com site. Was the missing clip one of those?

It seems that she died last week? A long and interestingly varied photographic career indeed.

She was a great influence on me. One of the main reasons I attended SAIC. Was very sad when I saw the news.
