Whenever I look this up I find a zillion plastic bags, e.g. at US Plastics and others, but they never see to be the perfect size. I am trying to minimize dust one additional level.

Could someone please post a specific link to a product that works? Thanks.

At the local grocery store chain there are about a million different Ziplocs of all shapes and sizes. There are some that will, I've found, hold a large number of hefty salmon. I'd recommend simply going to the store and trying a few until you find what works for you, then looking up the item online and buying in bulk if that's what you're after.

Agree, in my (MIDWEST USA) area the smallest one that fits is pretty oversized. Recently I have been using two holders per bag because the bags are so bulky.

These would work -- a little big -- you can fit two holders (and maybe three) per bag.

12x15 4 mil zip lock anti-static bags. The problem is that they come in a case of 500 at $139.00 (say $150 with tax/shipping) which works out as 30 cents each.

Buy a case and then sell the rest to us at 50 cents each (including shipping)...;)

I actually use these...(but I am running out, the bubble bags eventually wear out over the course of a year.)

12x15 anti-static bubble bags. Not zip lock, but I just fold the top over. Two hundred bags for $89 (maybe $100 with tax/shipping)...20 cents each.

I just bought these a couple of weeks ago. They work perfectly.

Use the following description to search on eBay:

Anti Static, Static Shield, Zip-top - 12" x 16" 25 ea

Its not a zip lock but Freestyle sells a black poly fold over with cardboard mailer in sizes ranging from 5X7 to 20X24. I have used the 5X7 store exposed 4X5 prior to development for several years now. They are listed in Darkroom Supplies/Accessories/Misc.

Both Zip-Top and Open-Top are available in a multitude of sizes. Check the 4-mil pink bags. Samples are available to evaluate before buying (that's what I did). I chose the 12x15 bags for 8x10's.

I've found gallon bags from the grocery store to be slightly too small.

I have found over-sized Ziploc bags (freezer bags) at my local grocery store; they can fit three 8x10 holders easily.

Hefty 2.5 gallon (7.6L) Jumbo sliders, from Walmart. Most grocery stores don't stock bigger than one gallons which will not work for 8x10s. You can fit four holders inside one Jumbo bag but they'll last a lot longer with three or less. These are all I use---I've had no problems with static dust, and they're cheap too!
