Minolta Autometer VF - over exposed images

My Minolta Autometer VF have stop to work or better its readings producing over exposed images but ca 3 stops. Any idea what its could be or maybe its need just repair /recalibration?

my experience with 3 stop over exposure on the minolta meters is that the little switch actuated by the pin when you install the diffuser is dirty or sticking.
