Howdy,
Anyone have any advice/tricks for minimizing static electricity when handling acrylic sheets for framing? Removing all of these dust specks is driving be batty.
Thanks!

About your only option is some source of ionizing radiation, such as from a zerostat gun. Or, you can do your framing in a very humid place.

Do not remove both sides of the protective paper. Clean work table. Wipe down out side of plexi with slight damp, not wet lint free towel(I use a little sprayway glass cleaner spayed on a towel), then peel first side. Lay on art package. then peel second side. Remove any specs, then seal package and place in frame. I have done this procedure all the way up to 48x96 inch pieces. As a disclaimer I have also been framing over 16yrs, so may just be second nature to me. Also may be helpful to roll the protective paper off with a cardboard roll.

Great info! Thanks, all.
Shadow Images: this procedure sounds like a winner. I'll give it a try.
