The Hubbard Museum of the American West (Smithsonian affiliate) is currently exhibiting the Fall American Photography Exhibition in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico. The reception is being held Friday, September 25. There are 120 pieces on exhibit in digital and analog, color and black and white from among the over 300 pieces entered.
Go have a look at the fine work represented. The theme is "The American West".
I was given a preview of the show (can't make the reception) and was surprised by the number of abstractions present, in what might be assumed as a landscape show.
