prolabs in LA

Can anyone recommend top-notch prolabs in Los Angeles (south bay or west LA areas). I really only need B&W/E-6 processing for 4x5. I hear many prolabs no longer do 4x5 B&W.

Nardulli and A&I are two pro labs in L.A. I think they're both in Hollywood.

Top labs in West LA I would recommend are:

1) A & I Color Lab in both Hollywood (off Highland) and Santa Monica (Colorado St & 17th St?). They do both E-6 and Black and White in Hollywood. E-6 in Santa Monica. They send the B&W to their Hollywood location.

2) Paris Photo Lab in Los Angeles near Culver City. They're located on La Cienega and the 10 Fwy. They do E-6, C-41, Digital and are an excellent B&W lab.

3) Photo Impact in Hollywood near A&I. Excellent B&W lab. I can't remember if they do e-6 or C-41.

All these labs process 4x5.

Other very good labs which I've heard good things about but haven't used are: Chrome n 'R' in Hollywood, Fleshtones in Hollywood , and Santa Monica Custom Lab.

I live in the South Bay and unfortunately, the labs are not as good as in the West LA area. You can try The Development in Hermosa Beach off Hermosa Ave. I think they process 4x5 E-6 and C-41. You may want to call first. There's also a lab in Carson called PCL West you may want to check out.
