I just heard from a gallery who represents his work that Don Worth passed away two days ago. He was 85 years old.

Kind man, beautiful work.

Fortunately, Don received the recognition he deserved while living. No doubt, more persons will become familiar with his work.

OH my gosh! What a great lost to us. But we do have all his great images for us to enjoy. I will have to pull out my book of his to look over and think what a great photographer he was.
He will be missed.

He was, in my opinion, one of this medium's most under-rated artists. I was blown away by the stunning quality of his work in the Carmel gallery that represented his work. Sad to hear.

He has left behind a beautiful body of work that will live on.
Don Worth was an inspirational artist for me.
Peace be with him and his loved ones.

Very sad news. I'll enjoy the print of his that has been on my bedroom wall since the 1980s even more now.

Don was one of the instructors when I attended the Ansel Adams workshop in Yosemite back in the early 1980s.

With Don gone I think they only ones left are John Sexton and Olivia Parker.

Ansel and Morley Baer died years ago and Ruth Bernhard died a little more than two years back.

Each one a great loss. Their work remains an inspiration.
