Hi to all in the photo world. I have a quick question if anyone can help me find a current photographer that uses mixed light sources such as strobe, tungsten or daylight. i have an assignment coming up for school that I need to balance 4x5 transparency film with a mismatched light source. correcting the color of the scene so that the color in the photograph looks neutral and without a discernable color cast. I need to find an example of a current photographer's work with using mixed light source. And I want to do this assignment in the studio...does anyone have any suggestions on a topic I can shoot or what type of lighting would look good, cause I am horrible with lighting indoors, so any help with that is greatly appreciated.

I do this all the time.

This particular image is with strobe, room light, and hot lights on the background with daylight blue filters over these hot lights.
It is all about color temperature. You can mix all source of light sources as long as the color temperature doesn't make you question the reality of the image. Then there is the green from fluorescent bulbs that will drive you nuts with you don't know how to filter for them. Best to turn them off with you have enough other lights.
