hmm - not too sure Jim is that happy to be "connected" with this seller...

(looks a lot like "cameo-need-ham" and School8..something..)

interesting to hear from jim, though..

Well Jim, this will give you more grist for the authorities at eBay anyway. Hope the top of your head stays on when you see it.

I contacted hiim trough ebays message system and warned him to cease and desist using my intellectual property. Ebays report channel seemed pretty top heavy. I would have to dedicate some time to read and sign up to their WeRO program to make a legitimate complaint. We'll see if the warning does any good.

Is it just the link to your website or are some of the pictures yours? If you are concerned about the link, you could change your page and substitute something else there instead.

"something else" would be the operative word. Like a link to our thoughts of the seller? Or a picture of a shyster salesman? Or ....

I'm not sure that I see what's happening? What's wrong with the item?

He/she is using a link to Jim's photos to help sell his lens.

Jim, do you have a really crappy photo that you can temporarily set up at that URL? Or maybe a screen shot of the guy's ebay page. That way when someone clicks on the link they get the same page.

great idea! post your real thoughts about the seller on your page...who is was/is now. his crappy description! why wait for e bay to police him? this is your opportunity!

i will be checking! you can always change it back after the auction...

oh! this sounds fun! come on jim play along!

How do I do a re-direct so when they get to that page it sends them on to the page here about name spamming?

Now the seller is saying that a Apo-Sironar-N is made with E.D. glass and has a 75 degree angle of view (like the Apo-Sironar-S).

That's not an APO-Sironar-N either... Perhaps we should swamp him with questions?
