In going over another copy of The Contact Print by friends of Photography(a pristine copy I just purchased to replace my old and worn one) I was wondering if this were being done today, who would you include?
Those in this first edition are Harry Callahan, Linda Connor, Emmet Gowin, Nicholas Nixon, Olivia Parker, Michael A. Smith, Frederick Sommer, Josef Sudek, Brett Weston and Minor White.

If you were putting out a new edition of this who would you include for current representation of The Contact Print?

If you haven't seen the book you have missed a good experience. Nice work presented original size. Good printing.

Robert Bourdeau, Dick Arentz...
Bourdeau especially, seems to be an *under-appreciated master (but his 11x14 prints list for $7000 or so); *don't know why that is.

Richard, I wasn't aware that Jody Forster did contact prints. My son has several of his 20X24 B&W prints that are enlarged from 8X10 negs. Some of his prints are from the Andrew Smith Gallery in Santa Fe but I've not seen any contact material there.

Yes George Tice is one of my favorite master printers.

Yes, I have a contact print by Jody. It is beautiful.

I have to tell you, I like Paula Chamlee's photos and prints much better than MAS, and she should be in the book this time.

Of course, I'd like to be in the book... ;)
