can anybody tell me about these units...also is it much larger than the cpp-2...i am considering both and actually have a space with a utility sink that could be used with the automated unit....thanks for you help.

if it is like the unit i had they are basically the same size as the cpp2 etc. the ones i had listed said alt 2 on them......same tub as the cpp2.

if they are like this (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?t=44001) then you will need a space about 5x4x3 feet approx. to fit it in....not that big really....but not a table top anymore.

2000 Nothing like a CPP2, a lot bigger foot print. Fully digital controls, pressurized chemical bottles on the front battery. All the ATL machines with exception of the 1000 and 1500 are large machines. The ATL 1 & 2 were about the size of the CPP2 but with the automatic lift arm.
