Just what the title says. I'm just curious about film usage of people here. I included motion picture for the few people here into that. It is film after all.

I use (or have coming) 8x20, whole-plate (6.5"x8.5"), 14x17 and 7x11....I bet there isn't a person who does even 3 of those 4! (that's just my way of finding out!)...:D

Chris, some people use 7x17, 8x20, whole-plate...might be good to add those to the list?

I would have been curious as to differences between those who shoot a few MF rolls on their 4x5 (or whatever) vrs. those using dedicated MF cameras.

I'm already at the maximum number of entries. Oh well, flawed as it is it's kind of interesting. Guess I should have left out the MP formats.

I shoot 35mm & 16mm motion picture stock for a living (as well as some HD work). It varies per project. At the moment the TV show I am starting is a 35mm show.

For my own stuff I mainly shoot 35mm stills, but I still hope to find the time to indulge in large format. I gave up my medium format TLR gear a while back.

Hey, another person in MP work! There are a few of us on the forum who evidently still believe in big negatives. I'm a 1st starting to move into operating for a living.

I shoot 5x7 and 4x10, but there is no entry for 4x10. I am very surprised how many people are using 5x7. I would have never guest. 5x7 is a great format with its longer aspect ratio then either 4x5 or 8x10.

6x7 on pentax hernia
4 x 5 on a cambo (in some countries aka calumet)
Very occasonally 6 x 9 on the cambo through a horseman back en even more occasionally on a 1951 gevabox.

A year ago I lost the use of my left arm. I haven't shot the pentax since, but the cambo is operable. The digital olympus is as well.
