I have a business meeting in LA (Canoga Park actually) Friday morning. I'm driving out from Phoenix at noon Thursday.

Are there any photo happenings in LA Thursday or Friday night?

Also, any of you LA LFers willing to meet for a cocktail or to photograph?

My plans are to get the Disney Music Hall Sat. AM on the way back, and then stop by Salton Sea as well.

Go down the East side of the Salton Sea or loop around... the best stuff is on the Northeast side.

The Los Angles County Museum of Art is pretty impressive as is the Getty.

And I don't think you'll find a good meal within an hour of the Salton Sea, so be sure to tank up in Palm Springs or at least a real town beforehand. All you really can buy around there is beer and frozen food.
