I've been unable to find information on whether the 2509 jobo reel is adjustable for different film sizes and if it is will it work for 3-1/4x4-1/4 film? I shoot with Graflex and process with a Combiplan tank but would like to run more than 6 sheets at a time.

Thanks!

Don,
the 2509N holds up to six sheets of either 6x9, 9x12 or 4x5 film.

Dan, I'm also looking for a way to develop 3 1/4x4 1/4 film in the Jobo 2509N reel. I have 2. As they are made, they won't allow for this film size (unfortunately). I think I'll permanently modify one (glue one of the ends in proper distance), as it's possibly the easiest solution...

Thanks for the information. Not having seen one in person I had no idea of how it works. A little glue sounds like a good plan.

Years ago I owned a Merz processor with twin tubes. The inserts for sheet film were very simple. They had small stainless fingers that were slightly bent that held the film on the inside of the insert. These fingers were U shaped wires that the two ends of the U inserted into tiny holes and were glued in place. The inverted U had a 10 or 20 degree bend in the middle to hold the film with a little tension. Very simple and worked perfectly with no streaking. This insert slipped inside the regular tube and a cap slipped on the end. I might give this a try by finding a plastic tube close to the inner diameter of the paper of film tube that I have and fabricate fingers from stainless wire. I have a 2561 and 2840 tube with extenders and think this might be a good solution and use for tubes I don't currently use. If I get this fabricated I will post images so you can copy it.
