Anybody know the coverage of this lens??? I haven't found it on any of the charts I usually look at.

It's equivalent to a 135mm (137.5) so in theory should cover 5x4 with just a touch of movement.

I have the 6½" and 7½" which both have plenty of coverage.

To put it in perspective...I already have an Optar 135mm f4.7; would an Ilex Paragon 5.5"/135mm give me anything extra???

no. they are basically the same lens. both are tessar type design - four elements in three groups - and as such they can only be expected to cover about 55-60 degrees. barely enough to cover 4x5.

Thanks, y'all...thats what I thought, but I couldn't find any data on the Ilex.
