I couldn't resist this ebay auction: # 280244874436.
Note to moderator: This is a ended auction that I won.

Wasn't it a specialist scientific colour graphics film, I seem to remember seeing adverts etc for it, and some images in the BJP. It's been around since at least the aerly 70's not sure when it was discontinued.

It gave colour contour effects to equi-densities hence the name. If you search Google you'll find references to it.

Black & White equidensity film on a clear base, according to the box.
Is this a high contrast 'copy' type film?
I wonder what the original ISO rating was This is orthochromatic film, so the best illumination would be biased towards the blue end of the spectrum.
It may have had a specialised developer. I may be able to get a pictorial contrast result, who knows? It will be fun trying.

It's a copy film with two emulsions. One blue sensitive and one orthochromatic. One of the emulsions is positive working and the other negative. Depend on the exposure time and filtration one got lines with different width. There was a special developer aviable. With normal developer one got only a black "image". Also if new this film isn't for camera work.

Fair enough: I won't waste my time with it if it is so specialised.

If you search Google a gain with "Agfacontour Colour" you'll find plenty about the use of the film for colour work, including Patents..

It can be used for "art" (http://sechtl-vosecek.ucw.cz/en/expozice2.html) as well.

Will there be nothing, not even a negative if you use a conventional developer?
