What mode to use???

My Epson scanner has two modes to scan in Professional or Home.Which is better and what's the difference.

Professional gives you the most options, while home gives you just the basics to scan. You'll probably want to keep it on Professional even if you don't know what everything does, and then read up and more importantly experiment with the options.
