I just bought an Omega E-6 enlarger that was stored taken down and even though I believe I have all the parts, I would like to see a manual or diagram on how the head attaches to the rails. If you know of a link to an online manual or can post this information it would be of real help.

This enlarger uses the florescent circle lights and has a turret of filters.

This is my first Omega large format enlarger and any tips will be welcomed.

Cheers

By-the-way, I've been a member here for some while but this is my first post.

You can probably get a manual from these guys:

http://www.khbphotografix.com/omega/index.html

They also have complete listings part numbers.

Harry doesn't sell this particular model, but I'm sure he knows quite a bit about them.

Hopefully you have all the required parts.....

Thanks Carlos, I had seen these sites prior to posting and it is because I want, no need, to get this up and in position because of space limitations that I'm looking for a online manual or instructions on mounting the head assembly to the rails.
Pics will do if anyone here has them to share.

I see how the hanger tapes attach and the small nylon wheels that ride the rails, but how is the head held in place against the rails? What does that part of the assembly look like?

While I'm asking questions, what was the size of the base board that was originally available for this enlarger? I can and will mount it to my bench if necessary, but I'd like the option of a baseboard so I can shift it around as needed.

Cheers

PM me you email address and I'll shoot you the D5 manual on PDF. Various things will be different, but the head assembly should be vary similar...if nothing else, the diagrams may help you figure out the E6.
