The following release announces a group show featuring works in several mediums, including photography, by artists who have a disability of one kind or another. Five of my images have been selected for display. Y'all come and see.

Blind Photographer Exhibits Wotk in San Antonio
Houston based fine-art photographer Drew Bedo will show a limited number of his still-life images in San Antonio during Juy and August. Bedo, who is legally blind, has been selected to participate in a group show sponsored by ArtCessability. On display will be works by ten artists with disabilities in several mediums. Bedo works with traditional films in vintage large format cameras. Several of these displayed images have a relationship to his vision loss.
ArtCessibility will be exhibiting artworks at the Gallista Gallery in San Antonio TX (1913 S. Flores St.) during Contemporary Art Month. ArtCessibility’s theme celebrates the 18th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. A reception will take place 6pm – 9 PM on July 12, 2008. Artworks will be on display for 30 days, July 12-Aug. 12, 2008.
