Well I did it, I just bought my first scanner. An Epson V700. God only knows what will happen now. Look for a ton of questions for all of you.

If you scan your ass be careful that you hover a bit as not to break the glass. Other than that it's all pretty much self explanatory. Good luck. By the way, if you post here for all of us to see your first scans, don't include the scans of your ass. Thank you.

You do realize that the god of scanning is Loki, yes? I've read that he never really developed a following though -- to tricksy and a shape shifting prankster to boot. Which is why he's the god of scanning of course.

Best to install the software first before plugging the scanner in and turning it on.
