i have just brought a gnome beta 35 colour, yeah i know it's abit old but im abit short on money right now.

the problem is it only has a 35mm neg carrier i was wondering if anyone knew how to convert this so i could use medium format negs 6x7, i tried placing the 6x7 neg without the neg carrier and it's to close to the lens/light and just get a rounded close up of the 6x7.

if anyone could help me id be very greatful!

I'm guessing since it has '35' in it's name, the enlarger will only do 35mm film. Even changing the lens to a 90 or 105mm, which you need for a 6x7 negative, it still won't work.

yeah i have just had it apart and realise theres no changing it, i will let my bloke use this one as he's interested in 35mm, wheres as this means im still looking for a medium format enlarger, im not in the money at the moment, all i want to do it print black and white 6x7s or colour if it isn't any extra. you know anywhere other then ebay?

thanks for repsonding :)

1. Whatever you just paid for it.

2. Try looking at this thread: http://photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00NLgm

Apparently all we can do is point you to people who can answer your question. I had only heard of Kaiser making copy stands.
