Thanks for the reply, Bob. I've emailed Larson, but not yet heard back. Since this site is such a huge resource, I thought I would also pick everyone's brains that I could.

I've got one of those old beauties, too. All I need is a flashtube for mine and Larson never answered my email about what type of tube I needed or where I could get it.

I know what you mean, Michael. I've got some issues with responses from Larson as well and not just on this repair info. Oh Well. At least they're here in the states and not somewhere deep in the heart of the subcontinent where the customer service folks speak with a beautiful, but totally non-understandable accent.

I just found an email for a guy in Minneapolis who has Strobasols listed in his flash repair site, so I'm waiting for a response to my email to him. Maybe he will have your flash tube. His email addy is Steve@flashrepair.com
