Is Photoshop CS a different product compared to CS3 ?

In other words can I run CS and CS3 on my computer ?

I'm not sure if I have to uninstall Creative Suite (has all the CS products) before I install CS3 Design Premium (has all the CS3 products) ?

Thanks for any help !

Ron,

You don't have to uninstall the old version, the new one will install and run separately. That provides for a good safety net until you get used to the new version, but it does waste space.

But if you do decide to uninstall it first, make sure you have the old serial number, as the upgrade will ask for both.

Good luck.

I have both CS2 and CS3 installed on my Mac (OS 10.5.2). Everything runs fine with one exception. The automated update system runs into a problem when doing automatic updates. If I manually install the updates there is not problem. This failure in the automated update system might be due to the fact that I have the entire CS2 suite installed and only Photoshop CS3 installed.

If you used the Beta version of CS3 you have to uninstall that. But not CS2.

I have both CS2 and CS3 on my Windows PC. No problems.

Thanks all for the good news ...

I knew about the CS3 beta version issue.

I'm in Montreal at the moment, can't believe it's snowing !
