Anyone know what shutter (220mm)this lens fits into? Also...is this the lens that Cooke desingned their last "portrait" lens on?

No, and no. They copied a classic American design for the PS 945, and when the 8 1/2 inch Series II's were made there were no standard shutters and Cooke wasn't very interested in shutters. It won't go in any shutter without expensive machine work. Lovely lens.
