Thanks to a nondescript one-liner at Wood's Lot (http://web.ncf.ca/ek867/wood_s_lot.html) I now know that Luc Sante has a blog:

Perhaps it isn't *that* Luc Sante, the one that writes so many introductory essays to good books of photography and whose reviews appear in unimpeachably literary journals like the New York Review of Books. Perhaps it is another Luc Sante altogether - or his dog. In any case the blog is a great read for those who like to talk and think about photographs in a wider context than the narrow world of photography and its enthusiasts.
