I have this lens and from previous posts I assume that this lens is a Rodenstock Sironar from the early 70s and that I remove the rear cell on this lens to get from 240mm to 700mm (This is how it is marked on the aperture scale with a separate scale for the 700mm length). This seems to be a very large change in focal length. Does anyone have any experience using this convertible lens in this focal length or in 300mm?
