Tripod suggestion for GVII?

I know a Tiltall will work with a Speeder, but has anyone used a Tiltall with a Graphic View II? Any other suggestions for a tripod to hold up the GVII?

Hi John,

I have used my tiltalls with the various GVI and GVII I have had over the years, with no problem at all, you do have the block on the rail don't you that came with the GVII the one with the tilt handle on it? If so, it will virtually mount to any tripod.

i used my tiltall with a graphic view ii as well.
mine had the tilt handle as dave mentioned,
and it worked great.

I bow to you guys who actually go out and do it and I used to use my Tiltall with a Linhof Kardan Color S but it still seems far from the ideal base for a Graphic View II. Nice to have a bit more weight under that steel sucker if you have it available.

Hey John - I posted a similar question last February (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?t=23588). I received some great suggestions, but ended up going with a Tiltall and I have not been sorry so far.
