Hi everyone,

Bit disappointed in this. Yesterday I went out in cold temperatures, a tad below freezing. On using my Kodak Readload holder, as I pulled out the first sheet after exposure it all separated and fogged the film. So, supposing it was a bad piece, did the same and it happened again. After a third attempt discovered that the frame of the holder had contracted with the cold (I'm supposing this), so had to fingertip push the packet out from the bottom crimped end out of the holder whilst holding the release button with the other hand.

Has anyone else had this problem? Lord knows how the holder will cope with much colder conditions when I travel to iceland in a few weeks..

Comments appreciated

Steve

You could keep the holder warmish under your coat until you are ready to use it. Then put it back under your coat, while you compose another shot. This would keep it above freezing.

I never thought of that! LOL I'm not one for realising the obvious..

Thanks :-)
