I saw this link on another group's site and thought it might be of some relevance here too.

Maybe if Kodak gets enough responses they will rethink about film's future.

This is a survey from Kodak regarding film usage.

I've taken it and was biased towards using film, which I love and cannot see the world without it!

I was delighted to see this.

I think most true photographers now use digital as a learning tool. I must admit my own processes have come on leaps and bounds since being a digital user.

So film is nowhere near dead as digital just doesn't have the feeling film does. As a guitar player I anticipate the whole analog digital war to continue forever as in music. To give an exaple my firend records analog synths digitally to master then does a final compressed master to tape then out to cd after re-capturing. An ideal combination getting the best from both format in harmony.

I think us as photographers should find the same.
