Sorry, this might be another post about the same topic.

Right now I have 90 110 135 150 210 300. I want to keep 90 110 and 300 and I have to choose one from the 135 150 210. Which one should I keep?

Songyun, I would say keep the 210. It gives you the most spread of focal lengths. I am puzzled on the 110 though. I would say offload that and keep the 135. Then you have a well rounded number of focal lengths that should be adequate for most scenarios.

90 135 210 300 will be a very good fit.

But one of key factor here is the weight, I want to keep the lens as light as possible. 90 and 210 is 1 lb each. 135 150 300 are all light weight lens. It is hard to decide between 90 and 110, so I decide to keep them both, if I get an 80, I will get rid of 90.

For any hiking trip 1/2 mile from my car, I will take 2 lens only. I guess that might be a 110 and a 300.

Definately the 210. 110-300 is a huge gap that's nicely filled by the 210. Alternately, you could keep none and find a lighter weight 210. One probably exists.

You mean Caltar-II E f/6.8?

naw, just get a 180.

110 - 180 - 300 would be nice

It depends what you like to shoot. For a while I had 110-180-300, but found that I almost always wanted a little shorter or longer so I traded the 180 for a 210 and a 150and that is a better fit for what I like to shoot.

I would keep both the 150 and 210, as I would find the gap between 110 and 210 a bit large for what I shoot, but you might not miss the 150 at all.

I'm the kind who keeps everything, so I may not be the right person to give advice...

If weight is important, see if you can find lighter lenses in the lengths you have.

My pack for this year's holiday travel will most likely contain a 5x7" Gandolfi and the following lenses:

120/6.8 Angulon - small, light, wide enough.
150/9 Germinar-W - another small, light, wide lens
210/5.6 Symmar - convertible to 370/12 in an emergency, so I don't need to bring the
355/9 G-Claron - it's either this one or four more film holders...

If I'm just going out to shoot locally, I also bring at least a 90/8 Super Angulon, swap the 120 Angulon with a 121/8 SA, usually add a 165/6.8 Angulon, a 180/5.6 Symmar, a 240/5.6 Symmar, and quite possibly the 300/5.6 Symmar too. With 4x5 I use the same lenses - but with the addition of a 65mm Ilex Acugon and a 150/4.5 Apo-Lanthar...

I guess that I will keep them all for a while and shoot some photos with these lens, then to decide. 210/180 might be a good one in the middle.

Good decision. You've already bled once in purchasing them.... Keep them and take just what you need to under each different circumstance as it presents itself. Like you said, when hiking from the car, you will take two. If you need a lens that is not in you pack, I'd rather make two trips to and from the car than not have the lens that you just sold!!
