Ansel Adams was born 20-Feb-1902. He would have been 105 today.

Thank you Ansel for all the work you did for photography, all the effort you made to teach others, and all you did for conservation!

Been reading Ansel Adams: Letters and Images - get a feel for the man as a human from reading his exchange of letters with such people as Steiglitz, Nancy Newhall and others. Quite a person - such as his helping Ed Weston & family during Ed's illness in later years.
